When should you consider electric equipment?
Electric forklifts are often considered for indoor warehouses because they have no combustion-engine exhaust at the point of use. Consider floor conditions, slopes, load weight, turning space and the model’s permitted operating conditions. Cold or wet environments require separate configuration checks.
Battery, charger and shift planning
Confirm battery chemistry, voltage, capacity, condition and the matching charger. Lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries have different charging and maintenance requirements. Runtime depends on loads, travel, lifting frequency and battery condition, not Ah alone. Follow the manufacturer’s charging instructions.
What should you prepare for a quote?
Tell us your maximum load, racking height, aisle width, daily operating hours and available charging breaks. For a used electric forklift, request an assessment of the specific battery.
Does one charger fit all electric forklifts?
No. Voltage, battery chemistry and manufacturer requirements must match.
How do I find electric equipment in stock?
Select Electric in the shop’s power filter and compare the specifications of the individual machines.
