Diesel or LPG — what should you compare?
Compare the environment, loads, shifts, fuel availability and maintenance needs. Combustion-powered equipment requires assessment of exhaust, ventilation and workplace safety requirements. Fuel type alone does not establish suitability for an enclosed space.
Mast, tyres and hydraulics
Match mast type and lift height to racking and entrances. Select tyres for the working surface and truck requirements. A sideshift or other attachment can affect residual capacity, so check the truck configuration and required hydraulic functions.
Assessing a used diesel forklift
Review engine operation, leaks, operating hours, brakes, mast, forks and service history. Provide capacity, lift height and working conditions for a quote. Do not assume specifications from one truck apply to another without checking serial number and configuration.
What does TRIPLEX mean?
It identifies a three-stage mast. Lift height, lowered height and free lift vary by configuration.
Is VAT included in the price?
Check the VAT statement beside the product price. If it is unconfirmed, request the final amount in the quotation.
